Richard’s Obituary Richard David Wall, 68, of Pontoon Beach, IL, passed away at 1:20 a.m. Thurs. June 13, 2019 at Meridian Village in Glen Carbon, IL. He was born Aug. 4, 1950 in Granite City, IL to the late Herb & Lois (Hughes) Wall. Richard retired from Laclede Steel after 35 years and served as a volunteer firefighter with Long Lake Fire Department for over 20 years. He is survived by 2 daughters and a daughter-in-law: Candy Wall & Shannon Bouck of Pontoon Beach and Amy Wall of Lakeland, FL; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother: Robert Wall of Anchorage, AK; 2 sisters and a brother-in-law: Cheryl & Frank Schenhoffer of Maryville, IL and Jean Taylor of Mt. Olive, IL; a half-brother: Guy Wall of TN; and a half-sister: Laura Wall of Silex, MO. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter: Tammy Marie Wall-Mercer; a half-sister: Crystal Wall; a brother-in-law: Dennis Taylor; and a grandson: William Morales. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sat. June 15, 2019 at Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory with cremation to follow. Burial will be at St. John’s Cemetery at a later date.
