Raymond’s Obituary Raymond Bell Fowler, 84, of Belton passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at a Waco Care Facility. A memorial service for Mr. Fowler will be held on Friday, June 14, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Dossman Funeral Home chapel in Belton with Ritchie Hamm officiating. Raymond was born on December 23, 1934 in Temple to Leonard and Hazel (Ashcraft) Fowler. He grew up in Rogers and graduated from Rogers High School. Mr. Fowler attended Temple Junior College before beginning a long career in the theater industry. He owned and operated several theaters over his career including the Beltonian in Belton, and still owned Cinema 10 in Huntsville, Texas. Mr. Fowler married Belta Brown on September 5, 1986 in Belton and they were longtime members of the Belton Church of Christ. Raymond was preceded in death by a sister Edna Earl Fowler and a daughter Sebrina Terpening. He is survived by his wife Belta of Belton, sons Marshall Fowler of Belton and Clyde Ray Fowler of Abilene, daughter Paula Rodgers of Las Vegas, and brothers Butch Fowler of Rogers, Jackie Fowler of Temple, and Roy Fowler of Belton. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton.
