Raquel Arroyo, 66, of Akron, Indiana passed at 10:15 am, Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at her residence. She was born on Sept. 6, 1952 in Mexico to Amelio Arroyo and Maria Rodriges. She was married in 1972 in Mexico to Ruben Arroyo, he survives. Occupation: Raquel was a homemaker. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church of Rochester. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. Survivors and place of residence: Husband –Ruben Arroyo Sr. – Akron, Ind. Son –Ruben Arroyo and wife Rosa Gallardo – Akron, Ind. Nino Arroyo and wife Iris Ruiz – Akron, Ind. Daughters –Elsa and husband Saul Gracia – Florida Silvia Arroyo and husband Rafael Ortiz – Akron, Ind. Maria Arroyo and husband Jesus Jimenes – Florida 14 Grandchildren 2 Brothers and 3 Sisters Preceded in Death By: Parents Sister –Carmen Arroyo Brother Time and Date of Services: 2:00 pm, Sunday, June 30, 2019 Place of Services: St. Joseph Catholic Church 1310 Main Street Rochester, Indiana Minister: Father Michael McKinney Place of Burial: Akron, Cemetery, Akron, Indiana Visitation Hours: 1 pm to 2 pm, Sunday, June 30, 2019 prior to the service at the church.
