Ralph E. Horne, 93, of Dacula, GA passed away Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Brookdale Senior Living, Lawrenceville, GA. He was born in Andover, VA on February 6, 1926, a son of the late George.and Kathleen Messick Horne. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Hula Horne; brothers, James Ray Horne, George Ray Horne, Jr., and Frank Horne; sisters, Lena Graham and Helen Louise Horne; brother-in-law, Ralph Graham; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Joe and Vivian Beverly. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and served his country in World War II. Ralph is survived by his son, Fred Horne and wife Nancy; daughter, Leah Anne McDaniel and husband Patrick; grandsons, Andrew Horne and wife Julia Park, Daniel Horne, and Christian McDaniel; granddaughters, Meredith McDaniel, Shelley McDaniel, and Allison McDaniel; great grandson, Archer Horne; and great granddaughter, Maisie Horne. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 17, 2019 at Powell Valley Memorial Gardens, 5650 Powell Valley Rd., Big Stone Gap, VA 24219 with family officiating.
