Robert Norman Fryar, 57, of May, Texas went to be with his Lord on Thursday, June 20, 2019. Norman was born October 23, 1961 in Big Spring to Melvin and Bobbie Fryar. He graduated from Early High School and attended Tarleton State University receiving a degree in Agriculture Education. He then attended Texas Tech University and received a master’s degree in Educational Administration. Norman served as an Ag teacher and thoroughly loved his profession. He was very involved in stock shows, raising goats, chickens and any activity that he could work with the Ag students. Norman loved to tell stories and had a big tender heart. He adored his grandchildren, was his kids biggest fan and always expressed a deep love for family and friends. Norman is survived by his son, Landon Fryar and fiance’ Tracy of Orla, Texas; daughter, Lana Pummill and husband Ben of Odessa; parents, Melvin & Bobbie Lee Fryar of Early; sister, Kim Jenschke and husband Lonnie; 2 grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, students and friends.
