Prentis’ Obituary Prentis Bismark McGoldrick, 90, of Cameron died Wednesday, June 26, 2019 in a Temple hospital. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Monday, July 1, 2019 at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron with Rev. Geoff Lightsey officiating. Burial will follow in the North Elm Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 am until service time at the funeral home. Mr. McGoldrick, a retired foreman for the Texas Department of Transportation, was born December 31, 1928 in Cameron to J. D. and Lonnie (Weidman) McGoldrick. He married Minnie Alice Cowan in 1953. He was a U. S. Army Veteran of the Korean War and was a life member of the V.F.W. Post 2010 in Cameron. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Cameron.
