Phyllis J. Ringwald, 88, of Middle Point died at 8:52 PM June 9, 2019 at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima, OH. She was born February 7, 1931 in Van Wert a daughter of Thurston and Tressie O. (Lee) Taylor both of whom are deceased. On December 24, 1966 she married Stanley D. Ringwald who survives in Middle Point. Also surviving are her children: Bobaleen (Chuck) Schulte of Van Wert, Tamara L. (Ed) Rice of Van Wert, John (Leslie) Ringwald of Van Wert, Michael (Kate) Ringwald of Middle Point and her grandchildren: Briana Geiger, Tressa Ringwald, Shay Ringwald, Joshua Ringwald, Franklin Ringwald, Toby Peel, Mandy Decker, Jessika Rice and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Donald E. Taylor. She was a home maker and for several years worked at Federal Mogul Corp. in Van Wert. She loved camping and basket collecting. Friends may call from 4:00 PM til 6:00 PM Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Brickner Funeral Home followed with a Memorial Service at 6:00 PM with Pastor Tim Owens officiating. Preferred memorials are to Middle Point United Methodist Church.
