Phyllis’ Obituary HORTON, Phyllis E. – of Richfield Township, MI, age 92, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at her summer vacation home in Grayling, MI. A Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating. Burial will be in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Monday and 12-1 PM Tuesday. Phyllis was born in Flint, MI on January 14, 1927, daughter of the late Kenneth and Alice (Ingold) Long. She married Richard Ross Horton on May 22, 1948 in Angola, IN and he preceded her in death after 61 years of marriage on December 26, 2009. Phyllis was a lifelong member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post # 267. She was a wonderful baker and loved bowling. Phyllis is survived by her sons, Steve Horton, Doug Horton; grandchildren, Alicia and Chad Hardacre, Nick Horton; great-grandchildren, Mike and Alexis; niece, Charlotte and Bill Clark; nephew, Gary and Pat Gearhart.
