Pauline Giblin, age 55, of Gloversville, passed away Tuesday June 11, 2019 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, NY. She was the daughter of the late Peter Russell and Ida Mae Capparello Giblin Sr. Pauline was a 1983 graduate of Gloversville High School. She was employed as a waitress at the former Trolley line Diner, Eccentric Club and lastly at McDonald’s. She also delivered newspapers for the Leader Herald. Miss Giblin was of the Catholic faith and a member of the former Mt. Carmel Church. She was also a member of the Alzheimer Association. Survivors include three brothers Peter Russell Giblin, Jr. (Toni Lynn), Paul Giblin (Jane) and Perry Edward Giblin (Julie); several nieces, nephews and cousins. A service for friends and family will be on Friday June 11, 2019 at 3:00PM at the Barter & Donnan Funeral Home, 1 N. Melcher St. Johnstown. Visitation will be on Friday prior to the service from 1 PM until 3 PM at the funeral home. There will be a celebration of life for Pauline from 4PM until 8Pm at the Gloversville Moose on Friday June 14, 2019. Interment will be at a later date at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Johnstown.
