PATRICIA’s Obituary Patricia Jean Zeien, 75 years old of Antioch, IL, passed away Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Chicago. She was born June 13, 1943 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late Richard and Irene (nèe Wojtowicz) Cheterbok and later grew up in Antioch. On August 25, 1962, Patricia married Joseph Zeien at St. Peter Catholic Church, Antioch, where they raised their family. Patricia will always be remembered for her love of family and creating a warm, welcoming environment. She made everyone feel like the most important person in the room and was genuinely excited to have her loved ones around her and hear all about their lives. She enjoyed gardening, playing games, going for walks, cooking, entertaining, shopping, going to lunch, painting and anything involving spending time with the loving family she created. Patricia is survived by her husband of over 56 years, Joseph; their daughters, Kristen (Michael) Strom, Karen Ann (Richard) Paddock, Kathleen (Chris) Buxton, Kelly Jo (Jeremy) Kauth; their 10 grandchildren, Joshua Paddock, Jeremiah Paddock, Zachariah Paddock, Amanda Patricia Irene Paddock, Robert Buxton, Jonathan Buxton, Matthew Strom, Jessica Irene Strom, Katelyn Patricia Kauth, Kristina Jo Kauth and 7 great-grandchildren, Michelle Paddock, Jasmine Paddock, Merida Paddock, Autumn Paddock, Patricia Paddock, Josephine Paddock, Caleb Paddock; her brother, Allen (Debi) Cheterbok; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 13, 2019 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 557 Lake St., Antioch, IL 60002. Interment will be private.
