She was born July 9, 1933 in Hope, Arkansas to Harvey and Nona Renee Wheyford. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Pete; son, Markham Wade Goodwin; and daughter, Connie L. Bernett. Nettie is survived by two sons, Michael Wayne Goodwin and Max Williard Goodwin; two daughters, Karla Jean Pouncey and Nona Renee Goodwin; twelve grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren. Interment was held Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at Union Cemetery in Bodcaw, AR under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Homes.
