On the afternoon of Saturday, June eighth, two-thousand and nineteen, heaven received a devilish angel when Shirley Eileen Rue passed away at the Knolls West Convalescent Hospital in Victorville, CA. The last and most stubborn of six children born to Roy and Elizabeth Anthony in East Liverpool, Ohio, Shirley is survived by eight children: Tom VanFosson, Jamie VanFosson, Tim VanFosson, Dennis VanFosson, Brian VanFosson, Charlene Andrews, Connie Klein (with whom she resided), Billy Rue, twenty-five grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Shirley will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Deceased’s Funeral Arrangements: A local service will be held with a viewing at 12:00 P.M., and a service starting at 1:00 P.M., at the Kern Hesperia Mortuary located at 16120 Main Street, Hesperia, CA. Immediately following, there will be a private celebration of life held for family and close friends at her daughter’s home in Hesperia. Shirley Rue will return home to Ohio on July 13th, 2019 to the Spring Grove Cemetery located at 1300 Lisbon Street in East Liverpool, Ohio.
