Mr. Morris “Pot Man” Rogers October 11, 1950 – June 25, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation BURLINGTON-Mr. Morris “Pot Man” Rogers, 68, of 412 Tucker Street Apt A, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at the Hospice Home of Alamance. Morris was the son of Ira Luther Rogers and Lottie Mae Jacobs Rogers, both deceased. He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Monroe, Jacob, Walter, and Terry Rogers; and two sisters, Ann Rogers, and Elvenia R. Jennings. Morris leaves to cherish his memories four brothers, Joseph “Joe” Rogers of the home; Ira “Billy” Rogers, Jr. and Maxcy “JB” or “Max” Rogers both of Columbus Ohio; James Henderson “Jody” Rogers (Ernestine) of Reidsville; one sister, Hazel Torain (Wilbert) of Rougemont; and a host of other relatives and friends. Morris’ funeral service will be held Monday, July 1, 2019, at 2:00 pm at Union Grove Baptist Church, 3081 Union Grove Church Road, Hurdle Mills, NC with Pastor Rufus Johnson, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the funeral service at the church. Public viewing for Mr. Rogers will be on June 30, 2019, from 1-800 pm at the funeral home. Alamance Funeral Service has the honor of serving the Rogers Family.
