Milton’s Obituary CMSgt Milton “Mick” Johnson, USAF RET, born on August 12, 1961, passed away on June 12, 2019 at the age of 57. Mick was born in Mobile, Alabama to McKinley and Fannie Johnson. He proudly served in the United States Air Force for 30 magnificent years, of which he enjoyed every moment, having assignments to locations such as Guam, Japan and Hawaii. While in the military Mick met the love of his life, Toya and together the military power couple had two beautiful children, Anthony and Angela. He enjoyed football, basketball, working with computers, and of course, spending time with his family. Mick knew Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was a dedicated member of Covenant Community Church in San Antonio, Texas. Mick was preceded in death by his father, Elder McKinley Johnson; mother, Fannie Johnson; sister, Doris Marks; and brother, William Lyles. He is survived by his loving wife, Toya Johnson; son, Anthony Johnson; daughter, Angela Johnson; grandson, Antonio Milton Johnson; sisters, Vivian Battiste, and Maryette Johnson; brothers, Cecil (Sandra) Johnson, and Delaurance (Tania) Johnson; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00PM on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Schertz Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, June 21, 2019 at Covenant Community Church, 15651 Bulverde Rd., San Antonio, TX 78247. Graveside Services, with full military honors, will be held at 10:30AM on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. Read More
