Mieczyslaw Dawidowicz, 77, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, NJ with his loving family by his side. He was born in Liwki, Poland the son of the late Marjan and Adela Dawidowicz. Mr. Dawidowicz was a resident of Flemington, NJ for the past year and a half. Prior to that he was a resident of Bridgewater, NJ for 27 years. He was the owner of MD Construction in Bridgewater, NJ for many years before retiring. Mr. Dawidowicz was a loving and dedicated husband, father, brother and grandfather. He loved taking care of his grandchildren. Mr. Dawidowicz was a very hard working man who also enjoyed taking a nap. He also loved doing outside work around the house and especially working in his garden. He was predeceased by his sister Irena Demichowicz. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Teresa Dawidowicz of Flemington, NJ, by his daughter Katarzyna Czerniak and her husband Piotr of Flemington, NJ and by his cherished grandchildren Lucas and Alexandra. The viewing will be on Sunday, June 23, 2019 from 4 to 6 PM at the Ketusky Funeral Home, 1310 Brooks Blvd., Manville, NJ. The Funeral will be on Monday, June 24, 2019 8:00 AM from the Ketusky Funeral Home followed by a 9:00 AM Mass at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church (Christ the Redeemer Parish) in Manville, NJ.
