Shoemacher, Michelle Linn, age 66, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2019, at an Upper Arlington, Ohio, nursing facility. Michelle was preceded in death by her parents, James and Doris Thornton. She is survived by her husband of several decades Steve Shoemacher, son Jason Borchers, sister Judi (Philip) Miehl, and several nieces, nephews and grandchildren. She was a wonderful and caring nanny for many years. She had a great smile and an infectious laugh. She loved to help people and rarely complained. Her unassuming and unpretentious personality brought out the best in virtually everyone she met. Special thanks to all the nurses and aides that adored her and helped her in her final months.
