Michael E. Winters, age 56, of Knoxville, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at the Knoxville Hospital & Clinics. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 24, 2019 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Knoxville beginning at 1:00 P.M. Mike’s family will be present to greet friends and relatives from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. At 7:00 P.M. memories of Mike will be shared. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church at 11:00 A.M. Following services, a luncheon will be held at the Church. Those left to cherish Mike’s memory include his son, Nathan Winters (Alizabeth Adams); siblings, Wendy Pettyjohn of Knoxville, Teresa (Darrell) Meeks of Belle Plaine, and John (Risa) Winters of Columbia, IL; six nephews; one niece; three great-nieces; three great-nephews; former wife, Karmen Winters; and former mother-in-law, Renabell Adams. Mike is preceded in death by his parents, Wendell and Geraldine Winters; grandparents; former father-in-law, Doyle Adams; and former sister-in-law, Kellie Gotta.
