Kelly, age 41, of Reading, formerly of Lynn, passed away June 9, 2019, following a long illness. Born in Boston, MA; he was the son of Catherine J. (McKenna) Kelly of Reading and the late Emmett Kelly. Matthew enjoyed following professional sports and was an enthuseastic fan of the Red Sox, Bruins and the Patriots. He was the brother of the late Julie (Kelly) Simone, and is survived by his two nephews, Nicholas Simone serving in the Navy and Corey Simone serving in the Army.
