Mary Moll Albright, age 94, long-time resident of Ewen, MI passed away peacefully in her sister’s home on June 4, 2019 with loved ones by her side. Mary was born in Flint, MI in 1925 to Gertrude and Reginald Moll. She graduated from Ewen High School in 1943. Following high school, she attended and graduated from Lucid Secretarial School in Grand Rapids, MI. She married Harry Albright on March 25, 1945 at Kelly Air Force Base in San Antonio, TX. They returned to the UP and resided in Ewen until Harry’s passing in May of 2018. Mary and Harry raised five children and always had a way of making each child feel special. Their home was open to all and held many happy memories for family and friends alike. Mary is survived by daughters Terri Gustavson (Jon), Kathy Davis (Ted), Gig Avromov and Peg Galvin (Hal), daughter-in-law Sue Albright, nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She is also survived by sister Sally McGuire and sister-in-law Rainey Moll. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Harry, son Joe Albright, and son-in-law Sam Avromov. Mary was an active member of the Ewen Civic Association, American Legion Auxiliary, and the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mary was always willing to serve her church and community in any capacity. Her time and devotion will be greatly missed. A funeral mass will be held on Friday July 5, 2019 at Sacred Heart Parish in Ewen, MI. The family will receive visitors beginning at 10 am EDT with mass at 11 am. Immediately following the service Mary will be interred at the Ewen Evergreen Cemetery with a luncheon to follow. The Albright family also extends an invitation to a Celebration of Mary’s Life from 5-9 PM at 22940 W State M64 in Ontonagon. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ontonagon County Cancer Association, Cloverland Senior Activity Center, or Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly are greatly appreciated. The family would like to send their deepest appreciation to Sally McGuire for giving Mary a loving home for the past year.
