Mary’s Obituary Mrs. Mary Josephine Evans, 58 , of Troy, MO, passed away peacefully, on Friday, June 28, 2019, surrounded by her beloved family. She was born on January 16, 1961, in St. Louis, the daughter of Joseph and Loretta (Hunt) Colletti. After attending the local schools , she graduated high school, then obtained her Associates degree from Florissant Valley Community College, in Florissant, MO. Mary worked for over 19 years at Cuivre River Electric, as a computer programmer. She loved her job, and even more so, her co-workers. Mary lived by the golden rule, “Do unto other’s , as you would have other’s do unto you.” She was blessed with one son, Scott. He was the greatest love of her life, and she was a loving, compassionate mother. In her spare time she enjoyed quilting, gardening, and punch needle quilting. She attended Calvary Church and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Troy. Mary will be remembered as one who sought to see the best in everyone, one, who did not judge other’s, only loved them. She was blessed with many kind friends who were always there for her. She was a beautiful soul, and though she will be missed greatly, through Christ’s love we have the promise of one day being reunited. Rest with the angels, sweet, Mary. She is survived by her beloved son, Scott Andrews of St. Peter’s, MO, one precious granddaughter, Sophia Andrews, her sisters: Jodie Backowski and her husband, Kirk, of Wildwood, MO, Francine Padgett and husband, Donald of Saginaw, MI., Patti Sizemore and husband, Dennis of O’Fallon, as well as many other relatives and friends. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister; Lori Mahoney A memorial service to be held in the near future.
