Mary Estella Hernandez, 64, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2019 in Lubbock. Services for Mrs. Hernandez will be 11:30 am Saturday, June 15, 2019 in The Chapel of Broadway Funeral Directors. Burial will follow in Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under the direction of Broadway Funeral Directors. Mary was born March 1, 1955 in Vernon to Leopoldo & Cipriana Garza. She married Antonio Hernandez on February 19, 1972 in Vernon and was a home maker. She enjoyed sewing, going to garage sales and flea markets, gardening and spending time with her loving family. A precious soul, Mary we be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her husband, Antonio Hernandez of Lubbock; four sons, Tony Hernandez Jr., Rocky Hernandez, Oscar Hernandez, Rocky Hernandez III all of Lubbock; three daughters, Corina Hernandez, Alyzeah Hernandez, Madeline Hernandez all of Lubbock; one brother, Luke Garza of Vernon; three sisters, Esperanza Hernandez of Wichita Falls, Irene Leija, Dora Martinez both of Vernon; sixteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
