Mary’s Obituary Tore Mary Elizabeth (Perry) Tore, age 94, of Deer Park, passed away peacefully at her home on June 25, 2019. Born August 15, 1924 to the late Joseph and Mary (“May” Hafertepe) Perry. Cherished sister of Ruth (Bill Smith) and late siblings and in-laws Joe (Marilyn), Bill (Betty), Norman, OFM, and Ann (Stan Koize). Loving mom of Lynn (Sean Martz), Joe (Elizabeth), Mario (Robyn), Sue (Jim Youngs), and Bob (Sherri). Fun-loving grandma of Hilary and Micaela Tore, Grant, Olivia and Jill Tore, and Kelly and Mikey Youngs. Treasured aunt to many nieces and nephews. Beloved friend to many. She was faithful to her family and church, independent, resilient, determined, adventurous, and gracious. She loved her Cincinnati Reds, the card game Hearts, and she enjoyed countless games of UpWords. She will be sorely missed by so many. Visitation will be Friday, July 5th at 9 AM, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary, 7820 Beechmont Ave, Cincinnati OH 45255. Reception to follow at IHM. Interment at (Old) St. Joseph’s Cemetery on West 8th Street to follow at a later date. The family is grateful for services provided by the Council on Aging, Meals-on-Wheels, Hospice of Cincinnati, and for the many nurses, therapists, aides, and friends who helped care for her. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Catholic Relief Services or another Catholic charity of your choice or the American Heart Association. Read More
