Marjorie Ann Elliott, age 85, of Elwood, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2019 at her residence following a very brief illness. She was born on January 27, 1934, to the late Clyde and Ruby (Richardson) Holloway. On November 21, 1959 she married Eldred Elliott and they shared more than 42 years of marriage before his death in 1995. Marjorie retired from Foster Forbes where she worked in production for many years. She was a member of member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and enjoyed playing Candy Crush and Cookie Jam Blast on her computer. Marjorie enjoyed cooking for her family especially her macaroni and cheese. Taking care of her family was more important to her than anything else. Marjorie is survived by 6 children, Cindy (Jack) Davis of Elwood, Susie (Dale) Fohr of WI, Russ Elliott of Alexandria, Beth (Keith) Truesdel of Dothan, AL, Charlie Elliott of Anderson, Curtis Elliott of Elwood, 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, sister, Janet Spencer of Dothan, AL, 2 sisters-in-law, Mary Barkley of AR, and Pam Elliott of CA, daughter-In-Law, Bonnie Cosby of Mooresville. Marjorie was preceded in death by her father, Clyde Holloway, mother, Ruby Sebree, husband Eldred Elliott, son, Mark Cosby, sister, Betty Dessing, and 2 brothers-in-law, Dick Dessing and Ronald Spencer. Burial of cremated remains will take place privately on June 29, 2019. A celebration of Marjorie’s life will be held at 6:00 pm on June 29, 2019 at the home of Jack and Cindy Davis, 137 West North C Street, Elwood.
