Marion’s Obituary Marion Alberta Souders, 92, of Austin, Texas, formerly of Elrama, died Wednesday, May 22, 2019 in the Christopher House, Austin, Texas. She was born November 25, 1926 in Whitaker, the daughter of Albert and Marion Smith Stine. Marion retired in 1987 from the Thomas Jefferson school district with fifteen years of employment. She was a member of the Elrama United Methodist Church and the national chapter of AARP. Marion was very active in the senior citizens Showboat Variety Show. She is survived by her daughter, Marlene Lee Creel of Austin, TX; son, Arthur Lee of Round Rock, TX; six grandchildren, Bobbi Jo Welsh, Brandon, Chelsea and Shelby Lee, Sarah and Adam Creel; three great grandchildren, Nora, Keira and Regan Lee. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband’s, Russell Welsh, Arthur Lee and Warren Souders; her daughter, Marion Welsh; and son and daughter-in-law, Russell and Marie Welsh; sister, Doris Nadzan; two brothers, John “Jack” Stine, William “Bill” Stine; and two siblings that died in infancy. Friends will be received on Thursday, June 6, 2019 from 4-8 PM in the Frye Funeral Home Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where services will be held on Friday, June 7, 2019 at 11:00 AM with the Rev.
