Marilyn Kay Veach, 80, Paragon, IN, passed from this life on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis. She was born June 8, 1939 in Bloomington, IN to the late Charles K. and Oris (Thompson) Sample. Marilyn lived most of her life in Wisconsin. She most recently was a caregiver and formerly worked at GE in Illinois and Lane Bryant in Indianapolis. She was a graduate of Martinsville High School. She was a member of the Whitaker Baptist Church in Paragon and the Red Hat Society. Marilyn married Donald W. Veach; he preceded her in death on December 24, 1998. She leaves behind one sisters, Peggy McDaniel (Bruce) of Gosport; seven brothers, Charles Sample and Darrell Sample (Linda) of Martinsville; Gary Sample (Connie) of Whitaker; Larry Sample; Douglas Sample (Cathy); Brent Sample (Teresa), all of Paragon and Ronald Sample of Gosport and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her only son, Gregory Veach. Family and friends are invited to a graveside service to celebrate Marilyn’s life on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Friendship Park Cemetery in Paragon. There will be no visitation. Memorial contributions in Marilyn’s memory may be made to the Leukemia Society 11550 N Meridian St, Carmel, IN 46032. Neal & Summers Funeral & Cremation Center has been entrusted with arrangements.
