Margaret Lavell Greer Betters, 78, of Bristol, TN passed away Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was born in Damascus, VA on February 7, 1941, a daughter of the late Fred and Bessie Arnold Greer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Morton Betters; sister, Lavon Harr; and brothers, James and George Greer. She attended East End Christian Church, Bristol, VA. She had worked for Caldwell Bankers, Bristol Steel, Preferred Properties, and, as she loved jewelry, Gordon Jewelers. Lavell is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Woodlief and husband Brett of Bristol, TN and Alica Jenkins and husband Hyland of Elizabethton, TN; three grandchildren, Chloe Woodlief, Andrea Pauley, and Alex Pauley; four great grandchildren, Aliah Inglett, Charles Pauley, Anna Grace Pauley, and Aidon Slusher; and other family and friends.
