She was the beloved wife of Robert D. Carmichael. Born August 16, 1961 in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Calvin and Emily Hartley. Mrs. Carmichael was a dedicated member of Community Baptist Church, Coopersburg. A longtime educator, she taught second grade for many years. Marcia was also an avid crafter. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Carmichael; and four siblings, Mike (Sheila), Mark, Maggie (Nate), and Missy. Relatives and friends may call after 6:00 p.m. Monday, June 24, 2019 at Community Baptist Church, 7350 Elementary Road, Coopersburg, followed by the Funeral Service at 7:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA.
