Loyd Donald Plunkett was born on September 11, 1938 and passed away on June 21, 2019 at the age of 80. He was a heavy equipment operator for the Tennessee Department of Transportation and an elder at the Defeated Creek Church of Christ. Loyd is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Annie Lewis Plunkett, and his brothers, Joseph Plunkett and Malcolm Plunkett. He is survived by his wife, Annie Laura Plunkett; daughter, Donna Pitman (Ronnie); sons, Rickey Plunkett (Veronica) and Barry Plunkett; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
