Loretta Lou Tobin, 81, of Grayling, passed away at her home on Monday, June 3, 2019. She was born March 29, 1938, in Beaver Creek Twp to parents Norman and Laura (Moon) Johnston. Loretta first married Fritz Williams and later married Willard Tobin. She worked at Bear Archery and was also a dispatcher for Dial-A-Ride. She loved spending time with her husband on the water and in the woods, fishing and hunting. She also enjoyed throwing darts at the Grayling Eagles Club. Loretta was a hard worker, a kind and loving mother, and no one was a stranger to her. Loretta is survived by sons, Robert (Sherry) Williams of FL and Loren Williams of Grayling; step-children, Max Tobin, Jim Tobin, John Tobin, Rocky Tobin and Pam Cole. She is preceded in death by her parents, first husband Fritz Williams, second husband Willard Tobin, and all of her siblings. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 7, 2019 at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home at 12 p.m. with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. and the service officiated by Dr. Robert Barnett. There will be a graveside ceremony at Oakwood Cemetery in Frederic, MI with a luncheon provided at Grayling Eagles Club following interment. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 6504 W M-72 Hwy, Grayling, MI 49738. Arrangements entrusted to Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home.
