Lennie Mae Prather Daley September 23, 1936 – June 17, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card CARENCRO ~ Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 20, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel in Carencro for Lennie Mae Prather Daley, age 82, who passed away Monday, June 17, 2019 at her residence in Carencro. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Lafayette. Brother Luther Burney will officiate at the services. Mrs. Daley was a native of Washington and a resident of Carencro. She loved gardening, working in her yard, traveling, antique shopping and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She helped her husband, Riley, run Daley Tower Service for twenty-five years. Survivors include three daughters, Brenda Domingue and her husband, Donald, of Scott, Gwen Dupuis of Lafayette and Romona Lajaunie of Scott; four grandchildren, Heather Fore, Cassie Bidstrup, Michael Pool and Amanda Sisk; ten great grandchildren; one brother, James Prather of Lake Charles; and four sisters, Betty Fuselier, Marlene Richard, Kay Jaramillo all of Lake Charles and Loretta Leger of Hayes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Riley Daley; her parents, Aaron Prather and the former Bertha Holden; one grandson, Josh Lajaunie; and four siblings. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and will continue from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Thursday. Pallbearers will be Donald Domingue, Brent Bidstrup, Kade Bidstrup, Matt Fore, Michael Poole and Sean Fore. Melancon Funeral Home, Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel, 4117 N.
