Leland Jerod Nathanial Coombs of Steelville, Missouri passed away Saturday, June 22, 2019 in his home at the age of 23 years, 5 months and 24 days. He was born December 29, 1995 in Rolla, Missouri to Leland “Bubba” Coombs, Jr. and Marlenea Volner Coombs. He had been employed at Ozark Outdoors. Leland had attended First Assembly of God Church in Steelville. He loved fishing, hunting, floating, playing music and his dog, Willow. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Gloria Coombs and Leland “L.D” Coombs; and great-grandfather, Kenneth Volner, Sr. Leland is survived by his parents, Marlenea Coombs of Steelvile, MO and Leland “Bubba” Coombs, Jr. of Steelville; one brother, Ethan Coombs, and one sister, Haylee Coombs both of Steelville, MO; maternal grandparents, Darlene and Mike Retkowski and Bobby Link, Sr. of Steelville; great-grandmother, Mable Martin Volner of Steelville, MO and Eva Coombs of Naples, FL; aunts, Angela (Tony) Kaltenkach of Steelville, MO, Lisa (Randy) Graham of Naples, FL, Trisha (Adam Parrett) Emrick and BA Nichole (Adam) Gwalthey; uncle; Bobby Link, Jr.; great aunt, Lois Carden of Steelville, MO; his dog, Willow; many other aunts, uncles, cousins; and friends. The Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until time of service on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Beers officiating. The Family was served by the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home of Steelville, MO.
