Marial Kay Taylor Grogan, 67, of Ft. Mitchell, AL died Thursday, May 30, 2019 at Columbus Hospice House surrounded by family. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 03, 2019 at 4:00 PM in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 till 4:00 PM at the funeral home. Ms. Kay was born July 19, 1951 in Phenix City, AL daughter of the late James Taylor and Qumy Broadwater Taylor. She was a fun loving, energic person who loved her family and those around her dearly. Ms. Kay enjoyed helping others in her own unique way. We will always remember how she made us feel comfortable in her presence. Her memories will forever be part of our family. Ms. Kay was also preceded in death by her brother, Ray Taylor. Survivors include her husband of 50 years, James “Jim” Grogan, Ft. Mitchell, AL; son, Jay Grogan (Denise), Ft. Mitchell, AL; one sister, Carol Howle (Toby) and two brothers, Gene Taylor and Robert Taylor all of Phenix City, AL; special granddaughter, Katelin Grogan, Ft. Mitchell, AL; numerous nieces, nephews and other family members also survive.
