Kathy Ann Jackson, 51, of Scottsburg, formerly of Corydon, died Sunday, June 2, 2019, at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville. She was born July 8, 1967 in Corydon. She was employed at Aisin Drivetrain, Inc. in Crothersville, Indiana and was a member of the Salem Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband, James Paul Jackson; her parents, John and Linda Harrol Heishman of Corydon; her sons, Michael Ross Simler (Jessica) and Dillion Lee Hunter Simler both of Corydon; her daughter Krista Kay-Ann Simler of Corydon; her brother, Billy Heishman (Norma) of Corydon; her sisters, Tammy Brumley of Corydon; and her grandchildren, Seth and Bryce Newkirk. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 6, 2019, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Brother Danny Jones will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and after 9:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to women’s prison ministries c/o the Salem Church of Christ.
