Judith L. Marlow, 72 of Evansville, IL, passed away on June 20, 2019 at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL. She was born June 10, 1947, in Red Bud, IL. Judith had retired after more than 25 years as a binder with Sparta Printing Company. In her earlier years, she had competed in both Western Pleasure and Barrel Racing horse riding events. Along with her longtime friend Vicci, she had operated a food catering service for an area auction company. Surviving are her daughter, Rachel (Jason) Lehr of Columbia, IL; grandchildren, Collin Besher, and Elliott Lehr; sister, Sarah A. Wittenborn of Evansville, IL; brothers, James A. Smoot of Evansville, IL, and Allen T. (Susan) Smoot of Blanchard, OK; along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Harme and Ruby Irene, nee Rister, Smoot. Judith has gifted her remains to the Department of Anthropology University of Tennessee, Knoxville, TN. In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to: American Kidney Fund, 11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300, Rockville, MD .
