Judith’s Obituary Judith ‘Judy’ Kay Craig Martin, 73, of Thomasville passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. A memorial service will be held at 2pm Sunday, June 30th at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington with Rev. Sherrill Morris officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2pm prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the home. Mrs. Martin was born in Cleveland County, NC on August 3, 1945 to Clyde Cleveland Craig and Evelyn Huss Craig. She retired as a teller for First Citizens Bank. Judy was a loving mother and grandmother, a great and caring friend and an avid and determined golfer. She was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving are her loving husband, James Christopher Martin, Jr., of the home; son, James Christopher Martin, III, (Kathy) of Lexington; daughter, Penny Martin Owens (Chuck) of Reidsville; brothers, Warren Craig of Sherrills Ford, NC; Carroll Craig (Mary Lou) of Vale, NC; Kenneth Craig of Sherrills Ford, NC; Ronald Craig (Lana) of Hickory, NC; Trent Craig (Myra) of Hickory, NC; 5 grandchildren, Christie Owens, Andy Owens, Christopher Martin, IV, Jasper Martin and Cooper Martin.
