Juanita McGlothin, 87, of Ashland, died Friday, May 31, 2019 at Woodland Oaks Health Care Center. She was born August 21, 1931 in Boyd County, KY the daughter of the late Roy and Verna Lou Osborne Hurley. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Edgar McGlothin, a sister, Wilma Sparks and a brother, Jack Murphy. Survivors include five nieces, Tammy (Joe) Pemberton of Chesapeake, OH, Debra Daniels of Ashland, Debbie Triplett of Ashland, Linda (Philip) Davidson of Sparta, NC and Ramona Sparks of Roaring Gap, NC; two nephews, Tim (Tina) Sparks of Russell and Danny Sparks of Morehead. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 PM Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at Miller Funeral Home by Pastor Ed Caudill. Burial will follow in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens.
