Everyone knew him not so much as his given name of Juan, but as Wampa. He was born to father Felix Cruz, Sr. and mother Andrea Punales Cruz in Cuba, June 16, 1959, he passed just 14 days before his 60th birthday. He married the love of his life, Andrea Penick Cruz. Whompa loved being with his family and friends the most. But he did enjoy hunting and fishing. He owned his own welding company and even used his skills as a hobby of taking old large propane tanks and turning them into bbq grills. He was a faithful christian. Wampa is survived by his devoted loving wife Andrea Cruz; 4 children: Juan Cruz, Jr., Logan Cruz, Terry Frederick, Jr. and Brandi Frederick, 5 grandchildren and 1 sister Margarita Cruz. He was preceded in death by his father Felix Cruz Sr., June 4, 2014 and then just 2 short months later on August 22, 2014 he lost his brother Felix Cruz, Jr. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at Immokalee First Seminole Baptist Church, 800 Church Lane, Immokalee, FL 34142 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 p.m.On Friday, June 7, 2019 there will be a graveside service at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens beginning at 10:00 a.m. Brial will follow.
