Our beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend, Juan Galindo Brito 82 of La Loma Pelona, TX passed away on June 2, 2019. Rosary will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at 7pm at San Jose Catholic Church in Carlsbad NM. Mass will be on Friday, June 14, 2019 at 10am at San Jose Catholic Church, followed by burial in Loving, NM. Juan G. Brito was born to Juan & Margarita Brito on December 8, 1936 in La Loma Pelona, TX. He was a resident of Carlsbad NM and formally resided in Loving NM. Juan served in the National Guard and retired from General Telephone Company in Southern California. He enjoyed listening to music and reminiscing about boxing and the old times. Juan was preceded in death by his father Juan A. Brito, his mother Margarita Brito, his wife Maria Carmen Gomez Brito, brothers Aristeo Brito and Ernesto Brito, sisters Virginia B. Hernandez, Anastasia Echavarria, Estela Martinez, and Maria Brito. He is survived by his sisters Leonora Brito and Elia Esparsa. His sons Juan Brito Jr., Jimmy Brito, and Francisco Brito. His daughters Virginia Brito Hernandez, Nadine Loera, and Dora Mendoza. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Pallbearers are Juan Brito Jr., Jimmy Brito, Francisco Brito, Freddie Hernandez, Steven Hernandez, and Thomas Armendarez. Honorary pallbearers are Andrew Brito, Paul Hernandez, and Victor Echavarria.
