Mrs. Joyce Ann Morris Spencer, 72, of Clemmons passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born March 25, 1947 in Davidson Co. to Walter Banks and Elizabeth Covington Morris. Joyce graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 1969 and worked for R. J. Reynolds for 12 years in the Sports Marketing Department and later worked for the Winston-Salem Forsyth County School System. She dearly loved her family and friends and had a special place in her heart for her great nephew and niece, Grayson and Harper Kaup. Her parents preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Frank Spencer; a son, Dan Spencer and wife Cindy of Wilmington and a sister, Carol Hall and husband Walter of Winston-Salem. A memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday at Clemmons First Baptist Church with Rev. Don Harvey officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the home of Joyce and Frank.
