Joseph Richard Schumm, age 33, of Toms River passed away Friday, June 21 in Levittown, PA. Born in Teaneck, he lived most of his life in Bayville and Kearny. He was employed as a maintenance worker with the Clarion Hotel in Levittown. Joe was a huge San Francisco 49ers fan, enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was predeceased by his great grandmother, Angie DeFranco; grandmother, Marie Schumm and grandfathers, Richard Mace and Richard Schumm Sr He is survived by his parents, Joseph Schumm and Maryann Mace Ferante; grandmother Lillian Mace, his siblings, Kristina Schumm, Halley Luciano, Thomas Luciano and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial gathering will be held Saturday from 1-3pm at “The Family Owned” Carmona Bolen Home for Funerals, 412 Main St. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hope Sheds Light, 253 Chestnut St., Toms River, NJ 08753.
