Jorge’s Obituary Jorge Bernal 07/10/1927 – 06/17/2019 “Dad, we’ll always remember that special smile, that caring heart, that warm embrace, always saying we were a team, in good times and in bad.” The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18 Mr. Jorge Bernal, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2019, at the age of 91. He passed peacefully, surrounded by his daughter, Patricia and her husband, Raul. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ramona Raquel Bernal. Left to cherish his memories are his children, Jorge (Adriana Delia) Bernal Jr., Maria del Carmen Velasquez and Patricia (Raul) Gamez. His furbabies, Abby and Moni. Grandchildren, Alyssa Gamez, Aislinn Gamez, Ricardo Bernal and Daniel Bernal. Also surviving him are Gabriela Bernal and Rosa Elena Garcia de Bernal, their children and their grandchildren. Also special thanks to Rubi and Norma, for their care and compassion, while helping us care for our father. Thank You for being there for Mom and us, no matter what we will always remember you Dad because there will never be another one to replace you in our hearts, and the love we have for you. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2019, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m., in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 8 a.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2019. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Read More
