John M. Clark, Sr., age 84, of Millersburg, Ohio passed away Monday, June 10, 2019 at his home, surrounded by family, following a brief illness. Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio. A graveside service will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Millersburg, Ohio with John Damron officiating. John was born May 17, 1935 in Holmes County Ohio and was the son of Herbert and Pearl (McCaughey) Clark. On August 18, 1986 he married Patsy Koch and she survives. John was a truck driver most of his life. He retired from the Holmes County Landfill after 25 years of service. After retirement, he hauled Amish. John enjoyed fishing, gambling and telling jokes. Surviving in addition to his wife, Patsy are his four children and their spouses, Mike (Brenda) Clark of Applecreek, Ohio, Cheryl (Martin) Skinner of Richmond, Indiana, Sue (Jim) Brown of Dayton, Ohio and John Jr. (Mary) Clark of Wooster, Ohio; three stepchildren, Ron (Jodie) Snyder of Nashville, Ohio, Jesse (Aleena) Snyder of Mansfield, Ohio and Peggy Snyder of Millersburg, Ohio; nine grandchildren, 8 step grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 6 step great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; a brother, Carl (Judy) Clark of Millersburg, Ohio; a sister, Mary Jane Fair of Walnut Creek, Ohio; two sisters-in-law, Lois Clark of Berlin, Ohio and Heidi Clark of Millersburg, Ohio; and numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws and outlaws. He was preceded in death by his parents, 8 brothers, one sister and many of his in-laws.
