Joel’s Obituary Services for Joel David Foster, 77, of Belton will be 10 a.m. Wednesday July 3 at Dossman Funeral home with Jason Garcia and Bobby Dunlap officiating. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Belton. Mr. Foster died Saturday June 29, at a nursing home in Belton. He was born April 4, 1942 in Latham, Tennessee to J.W. and Delma Tucker Foster. He graduated in Dresden, Tennessee in 1960. After serving his country in Vietnam he moved to the Bell county area in 1966. He married Mildred Thomison on November 25, 1966 in Belton, Texas. He was a member of Leon Valley Church of Christ where he served as a Deacon, he was also a former member of the Bell County Sheriffs Posse. He was preceded in death by his sister, Jean Tharp. Survivors include his wife Mildred Foster; two daughters, Teresa Lynch and husband Kenneth of Moody and Jennifer Huffman and husband Michael of Temple; a sister, Reba Dunlap and husband Bobby of Dresden, Tennessee; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
