Joe’s Obituary Joe C. Angles, age 77, of Hillsdale, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf. The family will greet friends from 1:00 to 3:00 PM on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at the Gibson-Bode Funeral Home, Port Byron. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, on Monday, May 20, 2019 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Port Byron. Joe was born on October 27, 1941 in Bluefield, WV, to George and Laura Mae Angles. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Vietnam. On June 27, 1974 he was united in marriage to Barbara Roaten in Davenport. Joe worked at Eagle Warehousing, retiring in 1997. Joe is survived by his wife, Barbara; daughters, Bridgette Zabramba of Hillsdale, Jennifer Tucker of Boston, MA, and Elizabeth (Nick) Ballard of Hillsdale; a son, Donald Angles of Silvis; many grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
