Funeral Service Wednesday, July 3, 2019 10 AM at St. Bartholomew Anglican Church Joan (nee Buckley) Luczak, age 82, of the Town of Tonawanda, died Friday, June 28, 2019 at the DeGraff Skilled Nursing Unit in North Tonawanda. Born November 20, 1926 in Sharon, Connecticut, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Ada (nee Bishop) Buckley. Mrs. Luczak was employed as a case manager for the Cheskin Dental Office in Cheektowaga before retiring. She was the wife of Ted Luczak; mother of Mary (Tim Zack) Bruno of Cheektowaga, Tina (Donald) Gwizdowski of Tonawanda, Lucy (Christopher) Riddle of Cullman, Alabama, Christine Zak of Lynchburg, Virginia, Laura (Michael) Maslowski of Lancaster, and the late Joseph Bruno, III; grandmother of Matthew Bruno, Bradley Gwizdowski, Katie (John) Kolkowski, Shauna (Alex) Bruce, Justin Bruce, Emma Bruce, and Kayla Maslowski; and great-grandmother of Olivia and Ian Bruce, Paul and Olivia Bruno. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. There is no visitation. Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at 10 AM Wednesday at St. Bartholomew Anglican Church, 2368 Eggert Road in Tonawanda; the Rev. Arthur Ward officiating. Interment at White Chapel Memorial Park, Town of Amherst. If desired, memorials to St. Bartholomew, 2368 Eggert Road, Tonawanda, New York 14150, or the SPCA are preferred by the family.
