Poland – Jo Ann Doughty, (formerly Jo Ann Aeppli) 78 of Poland, died Wednesday morning June 26, 2019 at her home. She was born July 10, 1940 in Youngstown, the only child of Joseph and Mary Bacic. She was a lifelong resident of Poland. She was a 1958 Graduate of Poland High School and the Saint Luke School of Nursing in Cleveland. Jo Ann was a registered nurse and had worked at Assumption Nursing Home in Youngstown for many years. She was a lifetime member of Poland Presbyterian Church. She belonged to a card club with friends for a great many years. She leaves her two sons, Michael (Janice)Aeppli of Naperville, IL, and Charles “Chip” Aeppli of Tallmadge, Ohio, as well as her grandson, Braden Aeppli. She was preceded in death by her parents. Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday July 1, 2019 at the Poland Presbyterian Church with Dr. Paul Anderson officiating.
