Jerry D. Donahue, 78, of Lucas, passed away June 21, 2019 at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2019 from 5:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Chariton. The celebration of life will provide a time of visiting, fellowship, and a luncheon. No other services are planned at this time. Jerry is survived by his friend and companion, Shirley Archer of Lucas; Shirley’s daughter, Darlene Archer; and 4 sons and their families: Jerry Donahue II, Chad Donahue, Michael Donahue, and Corey Donahue. He was preceded in death by his parents: Tom Donahue, Marietta Rouse Donahue Page, and Lester Page; and brother, Jimmy Donahue.
