Jerettia June Adkins Mullins, age 60, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2019 at her residence. She was born in Dickenson County and lived in Pound and Clintwood all of her life. She was a 1976 graduate of Clintwood High School. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Mullins; her father, Charlie Adkins; her sister, Wanda Moore; and her nephew, William Anthony “Tony” Cornwell. Survivors Include: Her Mother: Bessie Robinson Two Sisters: Peggy Adkins Parisi of Garner, North Carolina and Diana J. Adkins Hamilton of Clintwood, Virginia A Host of Nieces and Nephews The family will receive friends, Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at Mullins Funeral Home Chapel with services to follow at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, June 20, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Mullins Funeral Home Chapel with Tommy Austin, Don Barnes, and Russell Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the Phipps Memorial Cemetery, Clintwood, Virginia. Pallbearers will be Steven Godbout, Charles Cornwell, Anthony Isom, Jonathon Isom, Dave Fuller, and Allen Bostic. Honorary Pallbearer will be Roger Moore. Special thanks to Roy Deel and staff, Home Nursing Company, and staff, and MSA Home Health and Hospice and special thanks to niece and caregiver, Greta Doss.
