Jennie Marie Bielech, age 99, former N. Market St. resident, died Thursday morning at the Jefferson Healthcare Center where she had resided the past five years. She was born in Poland, the daughter of John & Josephine Potoczek. Mrs. Bielech was 19 days short of 100 years old. She was married to Stanley Bielech on May 5, 1945 in Poland. She retired in 1986 from the Jefferson Manufacturing Co. Mrs. Bielech was a member of St. Joseph Calasanctius Church in Jefferson and her leisure time was spending time with her family and grandchildren, gardening and traveling. Survivors include three children, Donna E. (Robert) Doyle of Jefferson, Stanley G. (Patty) Bielech of Geneva and Terri U. (Ronald) Kidder of Jefferson; 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Stanley in 1979 and a daughter, Helen M. Patrick. At Mrs. Bielech’s request private family services will be observed.
