Jamile’s Obituary Jamileh (Salloum) Ellati, 87, of Quakertown, PA went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at LifeQuest Nursing Center in Quakertown. She was the loving wife of Fouad A. Ellati for 53 years. Jamileh was born in Syria to the late Gerges Salloum and the late Mariam (Rizk) Salloum. She was employed as a chef for German Embassy in Beirut, Lebanon for 25 years. Jamileh loved being a mother and grandmother. She was a people person who greeted everyone with a blessing and the word habibi “my love”. Jamileh was one of a kind, strong, stubborn, angel, happy soul. Everyone who met her loved her. She was there for her children and grandchildren; they were her number one priority. Jamileh worked all her life to educate her children and make them descent human beings. Seeing her children succeed was her proudest achievement. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three children, Suzi Berry & husband, Edmund of Quakertown, PA, Amin Al-laty & wife, Sabah of Quakertown, PA, Hilda Nammour & husband, Andre of Beirut, Lebanon; her seven grandchildren – Scott, Aya, Maria, Adam, Omar, Celine, & Leah; and her five sisters. In addition to her parents, Jamileh was preceded in death by her two sisters. A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at Blooming Glen Mennonite Church, 713 Blooming Glen Road, Blooming Glen, Pennsylvania 18911 from 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm, followed by a memorial service at 4:30 pm.
